Fall Book Sale On Tap At Flint Public Library

The Friends of the Flint Public Library's Fall Book Sale will be held October 26-29 at the Main Library in the Lower level Meeting Room. You can choose from thousands of paperback and hardbound books on hundreds of subjects. For movie lovers, there's a collection of videos and DVDs. Music lovers will find CDs and a limited collection of vinyl records and cassettes. You will find hours and pricing after the jump.

Flint District Library Could Close Three Branches

Several members of the Flint District Library Board of Trustees have proposed a budget which includes closing three branches, including Cody, North Flint and West Flint.  They're also looking at other changes to reduce other library costs.
