Last week a mother in Ohio did and is getting a little heat for it.

Denise Abbott was fed up with her 13-year-old daughter, Ava, mouthing off to her. So she went into Ava’s Facebook account and replaced her profile photo with one depicting Ava with a red X over her mouth and the words, “I do not know how to keep my mouth shut. I'm no longer allowed on Facebook or my phone. Please ask why. My mom says I have to answer everyone that asks.”

Critics have gone so far as to call it child abuse, and the ladies on ‘The View’ even had a heated exchange about it.
