If you are ready to vote in next weeks election, be aware that some states require you to present a valid ID BEFORE you can vote. Make sure you take your drivers license or a state issued ID because some forms of ID won't be acceptable. Here are a few that just won't work!
August 7th (tomorrow) is election day for people in Mid-Michigan, with primaries and many local tax issues to be decided.
Tuesday is election day in Genesee County with many local issues to be decided. There are 3 different recalls to be voted upon. The most recognizable is the recall question of State Representative Paul Scott in the 51st District. If you live in Argentine, Atlas, Fenton, Grand Blanc and Mundy Township or in the cities of Fenton, Goodrich, Grand Blanc and Linden you will have a vote on this. There are also recalls for local positions in Flushing Township and Genesee Township.
Several local issues are on the ballot in the May 3rd elections tomorrow, so be sure to excercise your right to vote! Ballot proposals for funding the Flint City Jail and Police, Genesee District Library
