The sale of body parts is strictly forbidden on eBay. Souls, however, are apparently perfectly fine to put up for auction. We know this because eBay user Lori N is currently offering hers up on the auction site for the starting price of $2,000.

Princess Beatrice made headlines when she wore an odd-looking – and oddly captivating – Philip Treacy hat to the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in April.

Now, the hat is making some headlines of its own. According to PEOPLE, the hat, which was recently put up for charity on eBay, is bidding at £20,200, or more than $30,000. I'm not much of a hat guy myself, but I'm surprised the has hasn't brought in more money because of the historical event it was involved in. Read more after the jump.
