It seems odd that seldom do they experience quakes in the northeast, but as we approach the winter solstice that we would get one now. A few New England states were shaken on Tuesday evening by a 4.0 magnitude earthquake. The center of the earthquake was centered near Hollis Center, Maine.  The window-rattler happened just after 7pm.</p>
