A firearm or combination deer hunting license is required to hunt in this special season and veterans must be determined to be 100 percent disabled by the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Youth hunters aged 10 to 13 can hunt with firearms on private land only and must have completed hunter training. They also must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
