A Davison man has been 'Catfished' on an M-TV reality show. Let's just say the surprise is very shocking.

Davison High School grad Melanie Peters (nee Schultz) will be running the 2012 Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, starting tomorrow morning in Squaw Valley, California. This will be her first attempt at running 100 miles, but she has surprised many in her running career as she increases her distance.
The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life hits the track at Davison High School beginning tomorrow at 10 am and lasting until 10 am Sunday. Teams and individuals have been raising money and will continue to do so at the relay. Silent auctions, t-shirt sales and other items will all go toward the fight against cancer.
Memorial Day weekend is a time when most of us celebrate the beginning of summer by heading to the lake or up north or with a backyard barbecue. None of which would be possible without the sacrifices of our veterans and active military members.
Davison's Main Street will be filled with Christmas cheer and fun for the Downtown Development Authority's Christmas Parade. The parade starts at 6:30 with music, a recital of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by 67th District Court Judge John Conover, free hot chocolate and popcorn and of course, Santa Claus. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras and the children should bring their list for Santa.
The City of Davison will send billowing smoke through the sewer system next month in search of people who are illegally hooked up to the city sewer and are not paying for it. For the first time in 32 years the city will test the integrity of the sewer system, and look for those illegal taps. The smoke will also
help determine breaks in sewer lines and defective manhole covers.
Davison High School graduate Tim Thomas just keeps adding hardware to his trophy case. After helping his Boston Bruins win the Stanley Cup, he was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the playoffs. Now the NHL has recognized Thomas as the leagues top netminder, awarding him the Vezina Trophy.
Davison High School graduate Tim Thomas helped lead the Boston Bruins to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 39 years. Not only did Thomas play brilliantly in goal against the Vancouver Canucks, but he was named the Most Valuable Player of the series. Thomas recorded his second shutout of the series with a 4-0 game seven win. It was the first Stanley Cup Championship for Boston since 1972.
Since it's April Fools' Day, I thought I'd share something that happened last year on April 1st. Davison resident, and longtime Cars 108 listener, Becky Jiminez, (a.k.a. "Pat") hit it big on "The Price Is Right". If you didn't get a chance to see it, it's fun to watch, and the video is after the jump.
The other video is something my kids caught on the Game Show Network. A Flint man, and student at U of M Flint, Chad Mosher, appeared on "Million Dollar Password" in 2008. I don't remember this getting any publicity when it happened, (maybe I was living in a cave?) so here it is.
Game shows, and Wife Swap - the new future of Flint!
