Today is the 68th Anniversary of D-Day
It was June 6th, 1944 that signaled a change in fortunes for Allied forces in World War II. 68 years ago today, Allied forces (U.S., Canada and Britain) launched the largest amphibious attack in military history on the beaches of Normandy, France.
