Coldplay brought their French fans a pretty awesome surprise: Rihanna! The Bajan beauty joined the band onstage in Paris for their duet, ‘Princess of China,’ as well as a performance of a ballad version of her own breakthrough hit, ‘Umbrella.’
Rihanna and Coldplay combined dance and rock music on a medley performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards that included hits from each artist as well as their collaboration ‘Princess of China.’
Coldplay are hard at work performing throughout Europe on a nightly basis for arenas filled with screaming fans. Now, their loyal listeners across the pond will also be able to take in a live Coldplay show. The band has just announced a string of North American tour dates for next year kicking off in April 2012.
The 2012 BRIT Awards have yet to even announce their nominees, but The Sun is reporting that Coldplay and Rihanna have already agreed to perform their collaboration ‘Princess of China’ at the ceremony.
