Red Cross Blood Supply Critically Low In Genesee, Lapeer & Shiawassee Counties
July 13, 2011 The American Red Cross Great Lakes Blood Services Region is facing a critical blood shortage and is urging all eligible donors to come forward. Summer months are typically slow for blood donations as people travel and schools are out. Local donations are the lowest in more than a dozen years.
