We live in a strange time my friends and we need to be ready for anything.

It looks like we may be in for a white Christmas after all! Last night we got a good coating of snow, and a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until midnight means even more snow. The roads were a bit challenging this morning with slick driving conditions and power outages. But the good news is, the world is still turning.

I don't know about you, but I'm counting on the sun coming up on Saturday morning! If the world really is going to end as the Mayans forecast centuries ago, then we'll soon know. Here's an opportunity to enjoy a little humor if the world is going to end.

The countdown is on...

The talk of "Doomsday" and "The End of the World" is certainly on the rise as we approach December 21, 2012. I don't think the Earth will cease to exist, but I think it's possible that it could be the end of life as we know it. Whether or not the human race will be around following a doomsday event is a question that I'd rather not know the answer to.
