It seems like everyone who’s anyone in pop and country music is in the running for the vacant judge posts on ‘American Idol.’ Diva Mariah Carey is the only judge firmly in place, as sole OG judge Randy “In It to Win It” Jackson’s future remains up in the air, dawg.
It’s ironic, since he’s Mimi’s manager and brought her into the ‘Idol’ fold. With Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry all rumored to be desired judges, another big name has entered the picture: Justin Bieber.
Well, it’s official. Randy Jackson will not be returning as a judge on ‘American Idol,’ but he will remain as a “mentor” for the show.
Well isn’t this just a golden nugget of a celebrity news story? There’s a rumor floating around that Kanye West might be the newest judge on ‘American Idol‘ — and now, he’s gained the support of everybody’s favorite momager Kris Jenner, mom to the Kardashian klan.
Looks like the rumors of Nicki Minaj joining ‘American Idol‘ may be true. The Hollywood Reporter says that Minaj and country crooner Keith Urban are close to finalizing their contracts for the show!
