Former ‘All My Children’ Star, Susan Lucci, Returns To ‘Hot In Cleveland’ [VIDEO]

In season 2 of TV Land's "Hot In Cleveland," Victoria Chase, a washed up soap opera star, ended up on the set of "All My Children" and found herself face to face with her arch nemesis Susan Lucci.  Since then, "All My Children" is all but a memory... or is it?

After 41 Years, Fans Bid Farewell To “All My Children” [VIDEOS]

I remember being a kid and having to stay home from school because I was sick.  I wanted to watch my favorite show "Inspector Gadget" downstairs on our color TV.  My mom said I could watch it up in her room on her black & white TV (remember those), because she was watching "All My Children."

After throwing a tantrum, my punishment was to sit on the couch and watch AMC with her.  I sat and pouted through the whole episode.  When it ended I thought to my self, "I hope I'm sick tomorrow, I have to find out what happened to Erica Kane!"

Hoover Pulls Ads From ABC After Soap Cancellation

It looks like vacuum maker Hoover is about to play dirty.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hoover plans to pull its ads from ABC following the network's decision to cancel two of its soap operas -- 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live' -- last week.

VP of marketing Brian Kirkendall claims they will stop advertising on the network effective Friday, and that they're "making every attempt" to pull their spots from the soaps sooner.

ABC Cancels ‘One Life to Live’ and ‘All My Children’ [Video]

ABC announced they plan to cancel 'One Life to Live' and 'All My Children.' It looks like the shows haven't been doing well, but the network says they will end both series in a respectable way. Two other shows will go in their place. A food show called 'The Chew,' hosted by Mario Batali will start in September and a health/lifestyle show called 'The Revolution' will premiere in January.
