Swartz Creek Hosts Free Outdoor Movies

It's a summertime tradition. For years, Swartz Creek has hosted family movie night, and the 2011 season kicks off tonight with "Despicable Me."

My family has enjoyed many of these free movies over the years shown throughout the summer at the Pajtas Amphitheater, and it's a great opportunity to meet some neighbors and spend some quality time with the kids. Movies begin at dusk, so bring lots of bug spray, in addition to your blanket or lawn chairs.

Snacks? Unlike going to the theater, you can bring your own! If you'd prefer someone else make the popcorn, concessions are priced very reasonably.
