It's a classic case of "He said/she said" (or in this case, "She said/she said") as a superintendent has come under fire for her criticism of students' wardrobe choices.

Superintendent Ronda Bass of the Noble, Oklahoma school district says she asked students about their attire in an appropriate fashion.

“The first question I asked was how many of you in here believe that there are female students on the campus today that are dressed completely inappropriate,” says Bass. “Most of their hands went up.”

However, students recall Bass wording it quite differently.

Senior Stephanie Stewart notes, “The first sentence was, ‘Have y’all ever seen any skanks around this school?’ Around the end she said, ‘I don’t want to see anyone’s a-- hanging out of their shorts.'”

Stewart says Superintendent Bass handled the situation inappropriately, and sent many girls home crying during the first week of school.

KFOR reports that several parents have started a petition on Change.org asking Bass to step down as Superintendent.
