Stuff the Bus With The Salvation Army

Summer has been going by really fast, which means it will be time to start thinking about back to school. When you start shopping for back to school supplies, it would be greatly appreciated if you could pick up a few extra supplies for others who are struggling financially. You can drop them off on Wednesday, July 27 at Al Serra during the Sixth Annual Stuff the Bus event with The Salvation Army, ABC-12 and Cars 108.

There will be a bus out at Al Serra and the goal is to completely stuff it with supplies which will be distributed to children throughout Genesee County. Rod and I will be out broadcasting live starting at 6am, so you'll have all day to drop them off. You can also join us for some contests and other activities.

Backpacks, notebooks, markers, pencils, pens, erasers, folders, paper, glue sticks, rulers and scissors are all needed. When you're shopping for the kids, make sure to grab one extra folder so you can help someone else out. It's hard enough going back to school when summer is over, much less going back when you don't have any supplies to bring with you. We look forward to seeing you on July 27.
