Que the outrage on the part of both parents and the students.

It happened at a rally for seniors at a southern California high school. They say a school employee embarrassed several students who are not graduating this school year by calling their names out in front of the entire senior class.

The announcement was made by a retention officer with the school. He singled out the students who are not graduating. It's something parents say, sends a wrong message. Here's the message: The retention officer in charge of truancy dismissed the non-graduating students by calling each one of them by name, and told them to "stand up and look at the other students who were graduating and see what they were missing."

The video shows the moment.
