Make sure you've got the tissues out before you watch this.

Mr. Petrie, a teacher at Riverview Middle School in Plymouth, WI, was diagnosed with lymphoma in October of last year. He was forced to stop teaching because of his illness earlier this year. His students have never stopped supporting him, and homecoming was no different.

On Friday, hundreds of students and the school band showed up to his house with signs, and played "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."

He passed away the next day at 3 PM.

Rest in peace, Mr. Petrie. Hopefully, you knew the impact that you had on all of these wonderful kids.
