This year 'Richard' will have to deal with his full name on his birthday card.

Marks & Spencer, a department store in Britain refuses to send him a birthday e-card. It happens that his friend, Ruth Levy wanted to send her friend an electronic birthday greeting, however it was refused by the store because it used profanity in the wording. The profanity that they objected to was the woman calling her friend Richard by his common name, Dick. She tried several times with different variations, but none were acceptable to the store.

"Richard."Levy called the actions "political correctness gone absolutely mad."
