It looks like it is the Michigan State Police to the rescue. Announcements were made Thursday that the State Police have doubled extra patrols in Flint by adding 10 troopers to the most crime-ridden sections of Flint.The added patrols are being paid for by the state with $1 million to aide with freeing up jail space to get more criminals off the street. In just the first two days of the extra troopers there were 62 arrested felons.
