Starting today, commuters should expect delays on a long stretch of I-75. The work zone will run from the Genesee, Oakland County line all the way up to the I-475 North junction in Mount Morris Township.

It's all part of a $13.3 million project that will cover surface repairs and bridge improvements along the 19-mile corridor. Drivers should expect up to three lanes closed at a time overnight and some of those closures could carry over into the daytime commute.

Some bridgework is already underway and should be finished before the September end date, including Grand Blanc and Cook Roads. For more information on the construction, click HERE.
