Last week, the internet couldn't stop talking about Harrison Ford's 'Star Wars: Episode 7' injury. Oh, the jokes! Oh, the memes! There's a certain amount of comedy to be found in an elderly Han Solo injuring his ankle thanks to the door of the Millennium Falcon. But now is the time to quit with the laughter: Ford's injury, while certainly not life-threatening, is bad enough that he won't be able to return to the set for eight weeks.

Ouch. According to a whole bunch of tabloids, and confirmed by THR, Ford broke his ankle and requires some serious healing time. If some of the reports are to be believed, he also sustained some pelvic injuries, which just sounds horrible. Because he's a titan of the big screen, it's easy to forget that Harrison Ford is 71 years old, and this is all just a sad reminder that not even Han Solo is immortal.

The only silver lining here is that 'Star Wars: Episode 7' should continue to shoot as planned and meet its December 18, 2015 release date. We imagine that director J.J. Abrams and his team had a series of late-night meetings to rearrange their shooting schedule, but with a massive cast that includes John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Max von Sydow and more, we're sure they found a workable solution. After all, there's no way Ford was in every scene of the movie, right?
