More than a dozen people were injured when the stage collapsed during a performance last night in Westfield, Indiana.

The students at Westfied Washington High School were performing the musical American Pie last night, when the stage collapsed into the orchestra pit beneath them. Over a dozen students were taken to several area hospitals.

The school was open today, but guidance counselors were on hand to help out the students. How sad. I was very active in theater in high school, and a musical like this takes months to prepare. What an awful thing to happen, especially after all the hard work that was put in.
