Spring Training Is Done, Time To “Play Ball!”

Today is the last Spring Training game as the Tigers visit the New York Yankees in Florida.

Thursday afternoon the same two teams hook up in Yankee Stadium for the opening game of the 2011 Major League Baseball season.  ESPN will carry the game, as will Fox Sports Detroit.  So now you know the reason for very little work being done on Thursday afternoon!  First pitch is just after 1pm. 

The Tigers are hoping to improve on last year's 81-81 record, and if key players stay healthy should have good chance to do so.  I'm ready for some baseball!
