Spring Is Officially Here! (Almost)

We've managed to survive a really long winter.  Lots of snow and cold with little relief.  Sunday evening at 7:21 the Vernal Equinox, or Spring officially arrives!

At the Vernal Equinox, we get 12 hours of both daylight and darkness.  As we inch closer to summer (June 21), we will start getting a little more daylight every day.  Winter doesn't return until December 22nd at 12:30 am. 

Of course, I keep my snow shovel handy on my back porch until May 1st.  If I put it away before that.......we do live in Michigan, you know?
