It seems the airlines have figured out a way to gouge their patrons and now everyone is jumping on board. Spirit Airlines now becomes the fourth airline to charge their customers $100 to bring aboard their carry-on luggage.

Misty Pinson, speaking for the airlines said, "We absolutely do not want this news to be buried and have been actively working to make sure our customers are aware of this change, including emails to our customers and signs posted at our airports. What's most important is that we truly do not want any of our customers to have to pay $100 for their bag."

The change becomes effective to anyone who has not already booked their flights with Spirit. Makes you wonder whatever happened to the airlines to become so greedy and risk losing potential customers because of such outrageous policies.
