Scientists call it "arachnid rain." Now if you'll excuse me, I need to run out of the studio and scream...

The entire town of Wagga Wagga in Australia has been completely covered with wolf spiders. Residents said that they were "raining from the sky." It's actually called "ballooning." The spiders crawl up branches on trees, stick their butts in the air and create silk, thus "raining" down from the sky. The spiders in question were actually doing this to escape rising flood waters.

I don't care why they're doing. I hate spiders, and you'll never convince me otherwise. This story gives me the heebie jeebies. You can read the full story HERE.
