The evening skyline over parts of New York City has been a little dim lately, thanks to Superstorm Sandy, but this is a city that bounces back quickly. A fantastic light show on Monday evening on the Empire State Building put everyone back in a New York state of mind! Watch 16 million colors dance and dazzle to the music of Alicia Keys after the jump.

This brilliant light show, using 1,200 LED bulbs and set to the music of Alicia Keys in a radio-simulcast, was designed to showcase the new, high-tech lighting capabilities of the Empire State Building. Workers have been replacing existing lights on this iconic New York landmark with the new LED bulbs that are computer programmed, remote controlled and 73% more energy efficient since June. The new lights will be utilized to celebrate holidays and special events.
