They will open up here in Genesee County next month.

Lisa Sain was inspired and motivated by her son, Preston. The name of the group home, PALS PLACE, stands for Preston and Lisa Sain.

She decided to open the home because there aren't any group homes for adults on the autism spectrum in Genesee County. There will be staff on-hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are security cameras, indestructible beds, and a sensory room.

There's also a GoFundMe account set up to open a splash pad, which you can donate to HERE.

They are expecting to have six residents as early as November. For more information on PALS PLACE, click HERE.
