Special Needs Boy Gets Asked to Prom “When Pigs Fly” [VIDEO]

"'I'll ask you to prom when pigs fly' And he said Yes!" Vee Nguyen wrote on her Facebook page.

Nguyen, a senior at Everett High School in Lansing, told special-needs student Ben Davis she would ask him to prom "when pigs fly," she tells the Detroit Free Press. Then, at a recent school assembly, she made it happen. The ribbons were cut, and out of a box flew three pink balloons decorated to looks like pigs.

"Appearance will eventually get old but personality is what make a person beautiful," Nguyen told the paper. "And if everyone could look past the physical appearance every time they meet someone, this world would be a better place."
