I know you have seen a lot of creative homecomings lately from returning soldiers. This one is a bit different because it's a mom returning home from war. Sgt Jamee Gaines from Okmulgee, Oklahoma has spent the last six-months stationed in Afghanistan.

Take the jump to see the Christmas homecoming.

Christmas has come early for one Oklahoma military family when a giant, wrapped present was delivered to their front door all the way from Afghanistan. Hiding inside the box was Sgt Jamee Gaines who jumped out to surprise her husband Kevin and their three children.

When she found out that she would have two weeks leave she got in touch with the town’s Calvary Baptist Church to coordinate a surprise. The church came to the family’s home on Monday to spread the Christmas spirit with food, Christmas carols and gifts.

The biggest gift was the one that contained the biggest surprise of all.

Watch the surprise unfold in the video below.
