They are calling them glasses that record video from the human's perspective.

Isn't that what all recording devices held by humans do? Spectacles, according to Snapchat are a "totally new type of camera". The camera in the Spectacles has a 115 degree field of view, which is larger than that of a cell phone camera. The camera is located in the frames near the left eye. The glasses can record up to 30 seconds of video at a time, and have lights on the outside of the glasses so people know you are recording. Any video you record with the Spectacles can be uploaded directly to your Snapchat account using WiFi or Bluetooth. If you think these Spectacles will drastically enhance your Snapchat game, they will be available in the fall for $130.
