Sloan Museum Auto Fair This Weekend
The people of the Flint area love classic cars. Heck, we built most of them when they were brand new back in the day. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday the grounds of the Flint Cultural Center will be crawling with cool cars.
The 40th annual Sloan Museum Auto Fair begins on Friday night with a cruise to the Hot Dog Stand in Grand Blanc from 5-8 pm. Cruise participants need not be registered for the Sloan Museum Auto Fair. Parking will be at Physician’s Park behind the Hot Dog Stand. Dash plaques available for the first 200 participants Friday.
Saturday and Sunday the festivities will be at the Flint Cultural Center starting at 8 am both days. Gates open at 9 for spectators. Cost is $5 for adults, children under 12 are $1, kids under 3 are free. Active duty military (in uniform) get in free.
There will be music, food, and cars, trucks and bikes of all kinds. This show brings out the creme of the crop, so you’ll see some great vehicles. All the details can be found at the Sloan Museum Auto Fair website: www.sloanautofair.com
