Simon Cowell Gets ‘Swatted’

Prank 911 calls are all the rage in Los Angeles. It is called "swatting' and no one is exempt from it's fury.  TMZ reports that 'X Factor' judge Simon Cowell was recently a victim.

Apparently "swatting" has already captured such stars as   Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Ashton Kutcher. The call on Simon Cowell had police responding to a call that he had been duct taped and locked into his bathroom.

The LAPD is not finding this "swatting" trend funny. Reporting a false incident is against the law, and police believe that some of these incidents are being done to case home for a future robbery.
