Shrimp eaters you need to check your freezer. Shrimp sold in Michigan is being recalled because of possible Salmonella contamination.
Lipari Foods, in Warren, is recalling Wholey peeled, cooked, tail-on, 31 to 40 count shrimp, in the one-pound bag. Lipari says it received the shrimp from a supplier in Indonesia, and the F-D-A mistakenly cleared it for distribution last week.
Here’s the item number 399103. The UPC number is 094776074556 and the lot numbers are 30081, 10081, 70081, 30084, and 00884. If you purchased this shrimp, do not eat it.
