This video, produced by Save The Children UK, is meant to reenforce the idea that just because war isn't happening where you are doesn't mean that it can't or won't.

"Shocking Second A Day" illustrates a young British girl, in one second increments, as she and her family are ripped from their ordinary life and thrown into the chaos of war. The video was released just ahead of the 3rd anniversary of the beginning of the Syrian conflict. To date, that conflict has taken the lives of 10,000 children.
