Seven Injured as Cedar Point’s Shoot the Rapids Malfunctions [VIDEOS]

The same day a woman fell to her death from a roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas, seven people were injured when a water ride at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio malfunctioned. One of the boats on the 'Shoot the Rapids' ride flipped over and temporarily trapped its passengers under water, after it failed to make it up a lift hill.

One person was treated and released at a local hospital, and no other serious injuries were reported.
