The second Friday night of every month is an opportunity to experience the artistic talents of the Flint area. The Greater Flint Arts Council (GFAC) brings you Second Friday Artwalk from 6-9 pm at several downtown venues, all within a short walk from the GFAC (next to Halo Burger) on Saginaw Street.

The best way to take in Artwalk is to start at the GFAC and pick up a map of participating venues. There will be different artists and also live entertainment, food and beverages (inlcuding beer and wine) at many of the stops on the Artwalk. It's a great way to start out your weekend, and best of all it is FREE.

If you find something you like, you can purchase many of the works you see at Artwalk. Chances are good that you'll even get the opportunity to meet the artist that created it.

Among the many local artists showing their work tomorrow will be art students from Davison High School.

Parking is free after 5 pm, so this is truly a cheap date night!
