Salvation Army Looking For Those Who Need Help This Christmas
The Salvation Army is getting ready for the holidays and want to know who needs help. They have set up a week starting October 29th to accept applications for Christmas assistance. If you, or someone you know,
is need of help, here are all the details! They are taking application October 29th – November 2nd from 9am to 2:30pm for Genesee County residents. There are two location options for those in need. The salvation Army at 211 Kearsley Street in downtown Flint and the Salvation army Beecher Corps at 1475 W. Coldwater Road. There is no appointment needed.
To sign up applicants MUST bring the following:
* Current ID for all adults in the household
* Proof of dependents in the home – birth certificates and social security cards.
* Current bills – containing the names and address of individual applying for assistance
* Proof od income – Pay stubs, child support payments, Social Security, SSI, SSDI, DHS statement, Unemployment/workman’s comp, ettc.
