Salvation Army Accepting Applications For Help With Holiday Food & Toys

Salvation Army Holds Toy Giveaway For Families In Need

The Salvation Army will be taking applications from Genesee County residents who need Christmas assistance starting Wednesday, November 30th through Friday, December 2nd from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm each day. The program is designed to help Genesee County residents who would otherwise be unable to celebrate Christmas.
Those in need of assistance with food and toys can apply at either Salvation Army location. 211 W. Kearsley St. in downtown Flint and the Salvation Army Beecher Corps at 1475 W. Coldwater Road. No appointment is needed. To sign up for assistance, residents must bring the following documents:
Current I.D. for all adults in the household.
Proof of dependents in the home.
Current Bills.
Proof of income
