Run Thru Hell Races August 11th

With the Crim less than 3 weeks away, it's time for a test to see how ready you are.  The Run Thru Hell is a perfect opportunity!  A 10-miler on hilly terrain located about an hour drive from the Flint area.

From my personal experience, you can expect to run a couple of minutes faster at the Crim than what you run in Hell.

Run Thru Hell just to get the t-shirt.  If you've run other local races, you've seen someone wearing a Run Thru Hell shirt.  You know you want one.

The race takes place Saturday, August 11th at 8:00 am starting and finishing at Hell Creek Ranch at 10866 Cedar Lake Road, Pinckney, Michigan, 48169.

You'll want to arrive early, as traffic can be a nightmare on this 2-lane road.

In addition to the 10-mile race, there is also a 4.8 mile "weenie" run.  Most of the larger hills are in the second half of the 10-mile course.  "Weenie" runners get some rollers, but no really challenging climbs.

You can stop and get an ice cream at the general store in Hell afterward.  Or a cold beer and a cheeseburger at the Dam Site Inn.
