Run or Walk To Help The Genesee County Free Medical Clinic

May 14th is the 16th annual Healing Hands 5k run and walk to benefit the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic.  Both events begin at 9 am at Mott Community College in Flint at the Ballenger Field House.

Run or walk the streets of the College/Cultural Area of Flint then enjoy refreshments and massages after the race.  Cars 108's Rod Prahin and ABC 12's Angie Hendershot will emcee the awards ceremony and hand out door prizes!

Race proceeds benefit the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic, which is a volunteer organization that serves the needs of uninsured working persons who earn at, or below the poverty level and have no other access to health care.  The clinic is located on Welch Blvd in Flint, and is open Tuesday evenings, Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings.  Registration forms can be picked up at Bauman's Running Center on Hill road and at Complete Runner on Dort Highway.  Register online at:  www.active.com
