Nostalgic Rudolph & Frosty Head To Local TV This Year
'Tis the season to get nostalgic and nothing does that quite like those holiday TV shows we knew and loved as a kid. Something about those memorable classics just makes the season complete and brings out the child in all of us.
Get ready for a jolly ride down memory lane because guess who's dashing back onto your screens this holiday season? That's right those family favorites Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman are making their much-anticipated return to spread cheer and joy on TV once again this year.
It's time to dust off those cherished memories and gather around the TV because these timeless classics are about to light up our screens with their heartwarming tales. Unlike our favorite Peanuts specials that have found a new home on Apple TV+, these classics are back right where they belong on broadcast TV for 2023.
ABC, CBS, and FOX have released a packed full holiday schedule that won't need a subscription to enjoy. The networks know everyone's eager to get in the holiday spirit so they are kicking things off right away with all of our favorites.
This year's Holiday TV Special looks like this;
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27
- RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, CBS 8 P.M.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12
- SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN' TO TOWN - ABC, 8 P.M.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16
- FROSTY THE SNOWMAN - CBS, 9 P.M.
- FROSTY RETURNS - CBS, 9:30 P.M.
Of course, these will pop up on other cable channels such as Freeform, TBS, and even TNT and streaming services along with other favorites such as The Santa Claus movies Home Alone, and The Year Without a Santa Claus. Still, there's something pretty special and nostalgic about gathering everyone around "regular" television for those timeless favorites that just never seem to get old.
