Rod and Erin’s Hugs for Heros

Are you looking for a way to help on Veterans Day? Rod and I have teamed up with local VFW Post 822 and plan to collect items to send to the HHC 1-125 National Guard Unit who have been overseas for a few months. We kick off our Hugs for Heros campaign on Friday, November 11 from 6 AM to noon with a live broadcast at VFW Post 822 on Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc. You can drop off powders drink mixes, non-perishable snacks, energy bars, granola bars, non-perishable beef jerky, candy, cans of chips, hand sanitizer, small packs of cold/allergy meds, small packs of pain killers, mouthwash, paperback books, magazines, movies, DVDS, hand held games, batteries all sizes, every size zip lock bag and solar showers.

Once we have all of our items, the Ladies Auxiliary from VFW Post 822 will send these items to the troops. We hope you can join us next Friday and appreciate your support.
