If you are heading down to Cedar Point this month, you'll want to take a spin on any of the park's three carousels to help kids.

During the month of July, Cedar Point will donate ten cents for every rider on the historic Midway Carousel, the Cedar Downs Racing Derby or the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel.

The fundraising initiative is part of an ongoing partnership between the amusement park and the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. In May, Cedar Point launched the campaign with a first-rider auction for the park's newest ride, The Gatekeeper. That auction raised more than $30,000 for pediatric research at the children's hospital.

Giovanni Piedmonte, MD, Chairman of the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital, said the "ultimate goal is to return kids to fun, and Cedar Point is the ideal partner because fun is their foundation. This campaign allows every single person the chance to help our patients and have fun in the process."
