You hate it when someone at the next table is yapping on his cellphone, but admit it:  You've done it, and somehow that's OK. Am I right?

A restaurant in Los Angeles is now offering a 5% discount to diners who surrender their cellphones at the door. Mark Gold, owner of Eva, says it's about reconnecting with others.

So would you be willing to give up texts, email, and phone calls in order to get a 5% discount on your bill? Weigh in below!

"It's about two people sitting together and just connecting, without the distraction of a phone, and we're trying to create an ambience where you come in and really enjoy the experience and the food and the company."

Gold says that fewer than half of his patrons have taken advantage of the deal.
