Many people have suffered the loss of a pet, but when Tommy, a 7-year old German shepherd, lost his human, he was devastated.

Maria adopted Tommy as a stray, and he often accompanied her when she ran errands and went to church. When Maria passed away in November of 2012, Tommy found his way to the funeral. He then began going to mass every day, just as he did before he lost his human.
