A man lost his new bride and a son lost his mother in a tragic accident on US-23 Sunday evening.

If you were wondering if you could help in some way, the answer is yes. Here's how.

Sunday night's crash on US-23 took the life of Mariah Collins, who had just married her husband Bryan days before. He sustained serious injuries, along with Mariah's 11 year-old son. Both are still in local hospitals.

The family was struck by an 18 year-old from Swartz Creek who was going the wrong way on US-23. Authorities believe the teenager had been drinking.

Medical and daily expenses are very quickly adding up and they have the cost of Mariah's funeral to cover as well.

Relatives of the family have set up a Go Fund Me account online to help with those expenses.
