Reborn Life-Like Baby Dolls?

We've been watching the new show from Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) called 7 Deadly Sins. On a recent episode, they looked at women who purchase reborn baby dolls and treat them like real babies. Some of these women just miss having a baby around, others can't have children. So they treat these babies like humans: change their diapers, feed them, take them shopping for clothes, etc.

We're big believers in not judging others, but the most awkward part of the episode made us cringe: some of these women already have children, yet they still treat these baby dolls like their own kids. The dolls even have their own nurseries! Do you think this would be confusing to their real children?
