On July 21st, Over the Edge is coming to Flint to support The Disability Network in Flint and Genesee County.

I've always wondered about this; I've seen my friends do it in different cities, and now, it's coming here.

The Disability Network helps to remove barriers for people who have disabilities. My mom has had Multiple Sclerosis for the last 28 years, and I can tell you firsthand that there are a LOT of public obstacles for people with disabilities. Even though things have gotten better, there's always room for improvement.

$50 saves you a spot as an "edger." You do, however, have to raise $1,000 by the day of to rappel off the Durant.

Is it weird that I'm honestly more nervous about raising the money than rappeling over the edge?
